This wine is produced exclusively for Harvey Nichols by the award-winning Antsfield Estate, one of New Zealand's oldest producers. The front label features Antsfield's Model A Ford "Martha", still in use today, symbolizing the tradition and heritage that play a key role in Antsfield Estate winemaking. An outstanding example of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, this wine contains Antsfield's finest fruit and uses careful barrel ageing and extensive lees stirring to achieve richness, complexity and length. The nose is evocative, with exotic, tropical notes of gooseberry, passion fruit and lime. Very ripe and flavoursome, this wine is bursting with juicy, luscious tropical fruit flavours, supported by a zesty, tangy acidity. A versatile wine that can be enjoyed with or without food, we recommend pairing it perfectly with Thai, Japanese and fish dishes.
