The front label of this Côtes du Rhône features the helmet of the Knights Templar, a monastic order that founded religious communities and planted vineyards in the Middle Ages. Around Plan-de-Dieu, where this wine is produced. Bernard Latour of Domaine de L'Espiguette, this old-vine blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre is vinified in the traditional style and further aged in oak. Ruby red in colour, this wine displays aromas of red and black berries with whispers of basil and black pepper.
