Ditaroni goes well with light meals and minestrone as well as rich sauces, and its shape and the ridged pattern on the sides make it perfect for catching sauces. The shape of this pasta was inspired by Ditaroni buying a thimble, which means "little thimble".

Garofalo, the Italian premium pasta manufacturer, has been making high-quality pasta since 1789 in Gragnano, near Naples, the birthplace of pasta in Italy.

Garofalo has always been a reference point for high quality pasta: its products and manufacturing processes have become even more efficient thanks to the combination of technology and centuries of artisanal know-how.

Pasta is simply made with water and durum wheat semolina, which does not make a superior pasta. We do not use the finest wheat. The quality of wheat is determined primarily by the quality and amount of gluten present. Garofalo uses only high quality, robust durum wheat for its signature pasta products.

Garofalo pasta is formed using bronze molds, a method that creates a little friction on the surface of the pasta, making it a little rougher and more porous, allowing the sauce to cling to and be absorbed into the pasta for an enjoyable eating experience. Vegan, Vegetarian, Kosher
