"Ever since we began our happy partnership with Ocado, I've been asking them to stock gochujang, and I'm so happy to report that mission is accomplished! Gochujang is a fantastic Korean fermented red pepper paste that blends hot, sweet, and funky depth. Even if I'm not planning on cooking Korean food, I like to mix it with a bit of mayonnaise and add it to soups, stews, shepherd's pie, make a marinade, or use it to make one of my favourite easy solo dishes. Dinner is rice vermicelli (I use 75g Tai Seng Lek) with gochujang. Fill a pot for the noodles with water, remove any wok-like pan you have and add a drop of oil. Once hot, add 125g of minced pork and cook on high for 2 minutes, stirring frequently, and when it looks dry, add a tablespoon of gochujang and cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly. Add 100ml of water, whisking, and continue to stir on high until almost caramelized and most of it has evaporated. Turn off the heat, cover and keep warm while the noodles cook. Then add to the pot of gochujang pork using tongs, mix well, transfer to a bowl (sprinkle with fresh chopped coriander if desired) and eat greedily. - Nigella Lawson
