Located on the north coast of Spain, Conservas Ortiz has been processing fish using artisanal methods since 1891. All sardines are sustainably caught.

Ortiz Sardines "a la Antica" are made according to a 19th century recipe. Large, plump sardines are fried in olive oil and hand-packed (on average, 4 to a tin).

These sardines are some of the very finest. Omega 3 has rarely tasted so good. The sardines "a la Antiqua" take pride of place in the main course salad and make an exceptional tapas.

You can also have a few cans "on the side" - sardines of this quality only get tastier with age - some people store them for up to 10 years.
