This Aero Latte Frother contains a motor that operates at a "dry" rotation speed and torque specific to its milk frothing function. Both components are made from food-certified 18/8 stainless steel. The steel used in the shaft is hardened and thickened for added protection against bending and robustness.
The spiral whisk head is carved from a purpose-built spring. The density and tightness of the coils promotes effective whisking.
The Aerolatte handle is constructed from molded virgin ABS plastic. Battery and motor contact plates are nickel-coated to prevent corrosion. Comes with two Aerolatte brand AA alkaline batteries pre-installed.
When the motor slows noticeably and the shaft begins to wobble, the batteries should be replaced (after approximately 150 uses). Equivalent alkaline batteries are suitable.
