A flavorful, medium-bodied black tea.

This tea blend is based on the original varieties that were thrown overboard during the Boston Tea Party of 1773. Preserved for more than two centuries, the Robinson Half Chest is one of only two East India Company tea chests used during the Boston Tea Party of 1773 known to still exist. The morning after that historic night, a teenage boy named John Robinson discovered the tea chest buried in the sand near the shore. He kept the chest, and it has been passed down from generation to generation ever since.
The Robinson Half Chest is currently housed at the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum in Boston, Massachusetts.
